柳小路の地図~Map of Willow Alley~
Willow Alley is an important part of the built heritage of Nishi-Ogikubo. Located directly south-west of JR Nishi-Ogikubo Station, Willow Alley is a narrow street of postwar longhouses (nagaya) with over fifty rental spaces. Most are occupied by small bars and eateries. Built in the late 1940s on the site of a postwar black market, it is owned by a single real estate company based in Shibuya. The main alleyway is a private lane that is considered part of the complex.
